BSL Coach Education Update
Dear Members, we are delighted to announce our Coach Education Programme has made significant progress over the last 18 months, with a total of 11 Level 1 Courses being delivered to over 125 Coaches.
Now, after a significant amount of research and development has been carried out to ensure our Training Syllabus is professional, informative and challenging, we are ready to move onto the next stage of our Coach Education Programme.
All those candidates who successfully passed the first 3 Level 1 courses i.e Course No 1, Course No 2 and Course No 3, have now being contacted with a view of attending our next stage of Coach Education, which is scheduled to take place on 09th & 10th December in our High Performance Centre in Bridgeton, Glasgow.
Once this has been completed, we will then advertise a further 4 courses which will be delivered between January – August 2018.
All details regarding applications / venues etc will be included in the course advertisements, with priority to to attend the course will be based on the following 3 criteria:
1 – Level 1 (or equivalent) qualified
2 – Date passed Level 1 course
3 – Performance on Level 1 course / assessment
In order to be eligible, all applicants must have passed the BSL Level 1 (or equivalent) and thereafter been actively coaching for a minimum of 12 months, and must be over the age of 18
