New Dates for Female Regional Training Sessions

Boxing Scotland is pleased to announce three further female regional training sessions will take place later this month.

BSL hosted 40 female participants across two training sessions that were held in February in Dundee and Aberdeen as part of its commitment to increase opportunities for girls and women to participate in the sport.

Training sessions will once again take place in Dundee (Lochee Boxing Club) and Aberdeen (Byron Boxing Club), in addition to a session in Inverness (Highland Boxing Academy).

The sessions are being offered free of charge and are open to participants of any standard, over the age of 16, whether they are already an active registered boxer or have just begun their involvement in the sport.

The purpose of the training is to bring female competitors together to train alongside each other and also to give them opportunities that may be limited within their own club due to a lack of female members, such as sparring.

Although the training sessions will be taking place in the North District, interested competitors from both the Eastern and Western Districts are also invited to participate.
