The 2011 Novice Championships once again attracted a huge number of entries with circa 270 received. This presented ABS with the mammoth task of administering what can only be described as a festival of boxing over two days. With many excellent bouts and displays of skill on show, ABS would like to give particular thanks to the boxers, coaches, officials and supporters that attended over the weekend and made the 2011 Novice Championships a fantastic success. The event had circa 120 contests and a very healthy supportive audience both days which augurs well for the future of Amateur Boxing in Scotland.
