ABS would like to inform all Boxers, Coaches, Officials and Volunteers of a number of important updates relating to the forthcoming 2012 Novice Championships being held on 20, 21 and 28 October 2012.
- The weigh-in and medicals will now open at 8.00am and not 8.30am as previously advertised. These will take place in the Motherwell College room upstairs the athletics hall where the boxing will take place. Due to anticipated numbers, coaches will not be allowed upstairs and boxers will be filtered in batches of 40 to the weigh-in/medical room to avoid congestion outside.
- Coach bands and bands for boxers with single entries have been posted first class today.
- All Officials should report to the facility and register no later than 10.30am, where possible.
- Boxing will commence as close to 12pm as possible on Saturday 20 October 2012.
- Boxing will cease, in both rings, on Saturday 20 October 2012 following bout 40 or 6.30pm – which ever comes first. Details for Sunday 21 October will be announced in due course.
