ABS is delighted to bring you its 2013 Scottish Championship Preliminaries event being held on 23 and 24 February 2013 at Meadowbank Sport Centre, Edinburgh.

With one of the strongest entries in recent years this promises to be a fantastic weekend of boxing with a maximum of 71 potential Senior Bouts (Male and Female) and 31 Youth bouts (Male) being contested.
Boxers will be required to weigh in and undergo a medical on both days of the Championship and these will take place between 8.30am and 10.00 am on both days.
Two rings will be in operation for the duration of the weekend with Seniors boxing in ring one and Youths in ring two. Boxing will cease at no later than 6pm on Saturday 23 February 2013 with all remaining bouts being contested on Sunday 24 February 2013.
Boxing will commence at circa 12.30pm on Saturday 23 February 2013 and doors will open for spectators at 11.45am. An announcement will be made during Saturday’s session as to when boxing will commence on Sunday 24 February 2013 but it is anticipated this will be as close to 12pm as possible.
Spectators will also be able to enjoy the added bonus of watching the following 2013 ABS Intermediate Championship bouts which will be contested first each day;
