With just over one week to go, ABS would like to provide an update to those family members and supporters planning to attend the 2013 ABS Scottish Championship Finals.
These will take place on Friday 29 March 2013 in the Meadowbank Sports Centre, Edinburgh. This is the most highly anticipated date on the 2013 Amateur Boxing Scotland Ltd calendar and is set to provide those in attendance with a tremendously exciting evening of boxing.
The absolute cream of Scottish Amateur Boxing talent will be competing in a total of nine bouts, making this an event not to be missed.
ABS has already contacted clubs, with boxers competing in the finals, regarding bulk ticket purchasing. Approximately half of the 1200 (500 bleacher and 100 ringside floor seats) available tickets have already been sold.
As was the case for the 2012 finals, spectators will not gain access to the facility through the main entrance. Instead, spectators will gain access to Meadowbank through the blues gates towards the rear of the car park and via the fire exits adjacent to the five aside football pitches. Once in the building spectators will be directed to the ticket gate.
Tickets will be available for purchase from the ABS Office (0845 241 7016) and can be collected and paid for at the ticket desk on the night. Please call now to avoid disappointment on the evening.
Spectators planning to attend are asked to be there early as a large crowd is anticipated.
Medicals and weigh in will be held between 4.00 – 5.30pm;
Doors open 7.15pm – Tickets Priced £15 for bleacher seating (no concessions) and £20 ringside floor.
Pre-finals entertainment commences at approximately 7.40pm
