Team Scotland’s William Stuart has become the first of our boxers to progress to the quarter finals stages of 2014 European Junior Championships currently being staged in Anapa, Russia.
William was up against Georgian David Petrosyan in his final preliminary round bout and produced an extremely solid display with some great combination punching. His opponent received a standing count in round three ensuring William was victorious with a unanimous win. Well done to William who will box Alexandru Paraschiv (MLD) on Tuesday 05 November 2014.
