For the last 45 years I have coached at Springhill Amateur Boxing Club in Shotts and have produced champions at all levels including European and World titles. I am a qualified AIBA 2 star coach. I have traveled extensively with the Boxing Scotland teams to tournaments across the globe over the many years I have been involved with Boxing Scotland and have gained knowledge of different skills and techniques used by Boxing Federations all over the world. I bring a wealth of knowledge of amateur boxing having traveled all over the world with Scottish boxing teams as well as being Head Coach in my own club. I have been involved in 2 Commonwealth Games and over the years I have made many contacts in amateur boxing. To me it is very important to have someone on the Board who has an in-depth knowledge of amateur boxing.
