Further to the Chairman’s message of thanks, ABS would like to inform all boxers and coaches of the following details in relation to the third day of the 2012 Novice Championships on 28 October 2012;
All boxers will be required to weigh in and under go a medical – The weigh in and medicals will commence at 8am and will close at 10am.
Boxers will be issued with their boxer bands at the scales and table will be located in the athletics hall where coaches will be required to sign for their bands.
Boxing will commence at approximately 11am and doors will open at 10.40am. Prices will be £10 Adult and £7 Concession (OAP and U16).
The running order for both rings is currently being finalised and both will be posted as soon as they are complete.
Photographs from 20 and 21 October 2012 will be posted on the ABS Facebook page by Friday 26 October 2012 if not sooner.
Yet again ABS would like to appeal for any volunteers, who wish to help with the running of the event, to contact the office on 0845 2417016 to provide their details.This is a great opportunity for any boxers, coaches and/or parents from clubs to get involved for the good of our Novice boxers and amateur boxing in Once Scotland.
Once again, ABS is extending an open invitation to its Referees and Judges to officiate on 28 October 2012 and travel expenses will be reimbursed for those in attendance subject to completion of an expense claim form.
Can all referees and judges wishing to attend please contact the ABS office on 0845 241 7016 to confirm their attendance and the role they can carry out. All Officials planning to attend are asked to present themselves no later than 10.00am on 28 October 2012 to formally register to officiate.
