Following the fantastic turnout of officials at its 2012 Novice Championships, ABS would like to extend an open invitation to all its Referees and Judges to officiate at the 2013 Intermediate Championships being held on 26/27 January 2013 at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Motherwell. Officials in attendance at the forthcoming January ABS District meetings will also be asked to confirm their availability for this event.
ABS will appoint officials for the weigh-in, medical carding and computer operators.
Travel expenses will be reimbursed for those in attendance subject to completion of an expense claim form.
Referees are required to dress as per AIBA rules – white shirt, black bow tie, black belt, black socks, black shoes and black trousers. Judges should also be smartly dressed i.e. shirt, tie and trousers.
Can all Referees and Judges wishing to attend please contact the ABS office on 0845 241 7016 to confirm their attendance and the role they can carry out. All Officials planning to attend are asked to present themselves no later than 10.30am on 26 January 2013 to formally register to officiate. Officials unable to attend for 10.30am should notify the ABS office in advance.
