Amateur Boxing Scotland is delighted to announce the appointment of two new Specialist Directors to the Board.
Peter Evans
An accomplished Child Protection Consultant providing support to Governments and Non Governmental Organisation Partners working to improve the lives of children and promote their rights. Peter has worked extensively with UNICEF and the Governments of countries including Georgia, Kosovo, Russia, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan and Liberia, providing expert consultancy and training on areas such as care policy options for children, social welfare, family and child support services, gate-keeping services for vulnerable children and families, procedures and service standards for orphaned children in War torn areas and areas of natural disaster.
Kevin Bell
Legal expert specialising in Compliance, Employment and Commercial Law. Also specialising in Company Secretarial Activities. Kevin has extensive experience in Compliance advice and Commercial Contract review during his time as Assistant Company Secretary with MacDonald Hotels Ltd, whilst now providing legal and commercial advice and support to clients across the UK through his own company KVB Legal and Commercial Services Ltd.
Both individuals will strengthen our position in terms of Governance and will provide valuable experience to allow us to continue to progress as an organisation.
