The latest Introduction to Coaching course with Amateur Boxing Scotland at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Motherwell, on Saturday 26 May 2012 was widely praised by the coaches in attendance. Thirty five coaches from boxing clubs around the country turned up to take part in the course, and did not leave disappointed.
Almost all of the attendees gave the course top marks, with 100% confirming they would recommend the course to other coaches.
The positive feedback gathered from all the attendees is very encouraging for ABS moving forward with regards to its coach education programme. The ABS course delivery team also gave glowing praise to all who attended the course and took part in demonstrations. They were very encouraged by the levels of enthusiasm, eagerness to learn and willingness to take part in demonstrations from all involved. This came as no surprise given the time and effort our coaches put into amateur boxing, and their love for the sport.
Despite the scorching weather outside and stuffy conditions in the classroom, everyone in attendance thoroughly enjoyed the day.
This was the third Introduction to Coaching course held by ABS since the start of the coach education programme, and takes the total number of qualified coaches to over one hundred. These numbers are very encouraging for ABS, as it strives to provide its coaches with continued personal development opportunities, .
ABS will announce the next Introduction to Coaching course date and venue in coming weeks.
