Amateur Boxing Scotland were contacted today, with the sad news that Jimmy Harvey of Argo ABC, had passed away during the night. Jimmy was born in July 1930, he started Argo ABC in 1974, and went on to produce numerous champion boxers, including David Savage Senior, Ronnie Carroll and Mark Geraghty, among others.
Jimmy will be greatly missed by Paul, Davie, all the team at Argo ABC and everyone within amateur boxing.
Our thoughts are with his friends and family.
Jimmy Harvey 1930-2012
