ABS Talent ID Head of Coaching Danny Lee is delighted to report ABS had a fantastic training session at the Forgewood gym in Motherwell on 10 November 2012. There were 35 boxers in attendance from the North and West who collectively worked on balance, shape and speed during the warm-up and floor work. There was further focus on these important attributes in sparring afterwards in which all the coaches present noted a big improvement.
ABS Eastern Talent ID Coach, Mr Alec Docherty, reported a similarly successful turnout with 20 boxers from the East and North taking part in a concurrent session at the Kelty ABC gym. Alec was extremely pleased with the turn out and the quality of the sparring.
There will be further regional training held on Saturday 17 November 2012 at the same venues;
West and North in the Forgewood ABC gym in Motherwell at:
09:00am weight check for the 1999 and 1998 born boxers
10:30am weight check for the 1997 and 1996 born boxers.
East/North in the Kelty gym for all boxers born between 1999 to 1996 at 09:30am weight check.
