ABS is delighted to announce it will be commencing a series of nationwide club visits the week beginning 06 February 2012. The purpose of these visits is two pronged – to gather generic club information and to conduct club focus questionnaires with club members for publication on the ABS website.
A generic club development questionnaire has been developed by ABS Club Development officer, James Docherty, which is designed to gather information under Management, Development and Coaching. James will carry out the questionnaire with club representatives and the information provided will allow ABS to better understand affiliated clubs development needs and to allow clubs to inform ABS directly what, if any, development assistance they require.
The visits will also allow ABS to assess whether affiliated clubs are meeting ABS minimum operating requirements – James will provide and explain these during his club visits.
The Club Focus questionnaire will gather information on clubs for publication in a monthly club feature on the ABS website.
Details of the first set of visits can be seen below at the end of the post. They will be carried out on a five week cycle with a minimum of two clubs being visited per week. our aim is to visit every affiliated club over the course of 2012. Details of further clubs visits will be communicated via the website in due course.
