ABS has received the sad news that Archie Durie’s father, Archie Snr who was vice Chairman of Duries ABC, passed away peacefully at his home on 01 August 2012 following a courageous battle against lung cancer.
Archie Snr had been involved in the boxing circuit for around 50 years and was extremely passionate about the sport which played such a huge part in his life.
Details of Archie’s funeral are as follows;
Tuesday 07 August 2012 – Service 10.00am at Castlemilk East Parish Church, 40 Barlia Terrace, Castlemilk, Glasgow, G45 0AU, then on to the Linn Cemetery for for burial at 11am. All welcome.
