Four Nations Championships 2026 – Eligibility Criteria and Assessment Dates

BOXING SCOTLAND are delighted to share that we will be hosting one of our biggest ever international events this summer.

On the eve of the 2026 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, Scotland will play host to an expanded Four Nations Championships in June with more than 300 boxers expected to compete.

Following discussions with England Boxing and Welsh Boxing, Boxing Ireland have been invited into the Three Nations Championships to make it a bigger and higher quality competition for our boxers.

As was the case last year in Cardiff, Scotland will be hosting all age categories from Schools to Elite in a four-day event.

The competition will take place at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Motherwell on the dates of Thursday 11th June to Sunday 14th June 2026.

For Scottish boxers, eligibility criteria can now be found for the competition – Four Nations Championships 2026 – Eligibility Criteria

For boxers who fit the necessary eligibility criteria, clubs will need to do fill in the Microsoft Form before the date of Saturday 11th April 2026 to be invited to the assessment dates at the Boxing Scotland National High Performance Centre in Glasgow.

The assessment dates are as follows;

  • Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th April 2026
  • Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd May 2026

Caledonia Box Cup 2026 – Final Entry Lists Released

BOXING Scotland are delighted to release the Official Entry Lists for the Caledonia Box Cup 2026.

The Box Cup, hosted by Sparta Boxing Academy and Doghouse Boxing Club, will host its second edition next month at Grangemouth Sports Complex, Grangemouth.

Approximately 250 entries have been received from clubs in Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, Spain and Germany for the Open Class event which will take place on the dates of Friday 3rd April to Sunday 5th April.

Please note, weights are now locked in for the Box Cup and no further amendments will be considered.

Elite Golden Gloves Final 2026 – Official Running Order

Boxing Scotland are delighted to release the Official Running Order for the 2026 Elite Golden Gloves Finals.

For the third year in a row, Larkhall MXP’s Fred Hannaway will top the bill in the 75kg Middleweight Final.

The 2024 and 2025 Silver medalist is aiming for his first Boxing Scotland Elite title, following two epic contests with Doghouse’s Alan Perrie over the past two years in the final bout of the night.

This year Hannway takes on Skyaxe’s Jake Shaw, who himself is a former Boxing Scotland Elite Silver medallist and who has won 6 of his past 7 contests in the Elite Golden Gloves to book his place in the Finals for a second time.

That bout tops what is set to be a fantastic night of Olympic-style boxing, with 13 Finals in total set to take place at Ravesncraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell on Saturday evening.

Bleacher/Floor seats can be purchased for £30 or get closer to the action with a limited number of ringside Tables of 10 available for £800.

There will be a full licensed bar selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the venue.

Please note, this event will not be live streamed, so the only way to watch the biggest night in the Scottish boxing calendar is to purchase a ticket for this weekend for a night that is not to be missed.

Doors open from 6:30pm, with the first bell scheduled for 7:30pm.

Key information includes;

Weigh-in time – The weigh-in will be conducted at Ravenscraig on the morning of Saturday 21st March from 9-11am.

Medicals – Pre-Bout medicals will be conducted from 5-6pm on Saturday evening.

Weight allowance – There is no weight allowance in this competition for all boxers.

Handwraps – Professional style handwraps are mandatory for all boxers in the Elite Golden Gloves Finals.

Tickets now available for Boxing Scotland Elite Golden Gloves Finals 2026

TICKETS are now live for the premier event in the Scottish Olympic-style boxing calendar – the Boxing Scotland Elite Golden Gloves Finals.

The showpiece event will take place this weekend on the evening of Saturday 21st March 2026 at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell, following three days of high-quality preliminary rounds.

It will be a fantastic evening of Elite Golden Gloves Finals, with 13 exciting Finals scheduled to take place.

Secure your ticket now for an evening of boxing that is not to be missed, with Scotland’s finest Olympic-style boxers set to be on display.

Bleacher/Floor seats can be purchased for £30 or get closer to the action with a limited number of ringside Tables of 10 available for £800.

Ringside Tables of 10 come with Two Bottles of Wine (One Red/One White), 10 Bottles of Beer, 10 Cans of Soft Drink, 10 Hot Pies and other table snacks.

Table position will be allocated by Boxing Scotland and this will be communicated to each party on arrival. Please note, all table shown in the venue table plan are designated as ringside tables. Bleacher/Floor seats are unreserved.

Doors will open at 6:30pm, with the first bell set to be at 7:30pm.

There will be a full licensed bar selling alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks at the venue.

Please note, Under-18’s are allowed to attend but must be accompanied by an adult.

King of the North Box Cup 2026 – Entries Now Open

BOXING Scotland are delighted to announce that we are once again partnering with Granite City Boxing Club and Cain Boxing Club to help deliver the King of the North Box Cup – with entries now open!

The National Governing Body will be handling all entries and payments for the Box Cup, which will be held in Aberdeen in May 2026.

The King of the North Box Cup will be an Open Class competition, once again set to attract top quality boxers from across the UK and beyond, ranging from School boxers born 2013 all the way to senior.

DATE: Saturday 30th and Sunday 31st May 2026

VENUE: Bucksburn Academy, Kepplehills Road, Bucksburn, Aberdeen, AB21 9DG

COST: £25 per boxer.

ENTRIES INFORMATION;

The King of the North Box Cup is an Open Class competition and by entering your boxers in this competition you confirm that they are open class standard and are able to compete at this level.

The Box Cup is only open for boxers and clubs who are affiliated with a recognised National Governing Body (ie Boxing Scotland/England Boxing/Welsh Boxing etc) for the 2025/26 season.

Clubs can only enter boxers for the event via the online entry forms below;

Entries will close at Noon on Monday 20th April 2026, however please be aware that entries may close earlier due to the event reaching capacity. Final entries will be published on the Boxing Scotland website (www.boxingscotland.org) ahead of the event.

All entries must be accompanied by an Entry payment of £25 which can only be paid through Boxing Scotland’s online ticketing platform at the link below.  Entry fees must also be paid for by the deadline of Noon on Monday 20th April 2026. Entry fees are non-refundable.

BOXING Scotland are delighted to share the Entry Lists for the 2026 edition of the Caledonia Box Cup.

The Box Cup, hosted by Sparta Boxing Academy and Doghouse Boxing Club, will host its second edition next month at Grangemouth Sports Complex, Grangemouth.

Approximately 250 entries have been received from clubs in Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales, Spain and Germany for the Open Class event which will take place on the dates of Friday 3rd April to Sunday 5th April.

Please note, the competition will now open for any amendments from entered boxers until Noon on Monday 16th March 2026. After this date all weights will be locked in for the competition, and a Final Entry list for the competition will be published.
