Our next Boxing Scotland Level Two course date has been confirmed.  The Level Two course is being held in our High Performance Centre , on Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th June  2022.

Our next Boxing Scotland Level one course dates have been confirmed.  The Level one course is being held in the North District on Saturday 30th April and Sunday 01st May 2022.

The venue will be;

Important information regarding the first weekend of our Youth & Elite Championships

Dear Members,

See below for some important information regarding the first weekend of our Youth & Elite Championships

Only the boxers scheduled to box on Saturday 19th March need to attend the weigh-in on that day, as boxers only weigh in on the day they compete.

Please note, bouts are subject to change depending on potential withdrawals.

Please also note the following important update to this weekend’s schedule;

On Saturday 19th March, we will be operating with one ring.  The Youth Running Order will box first, followed by the Elite Running Order.

On Sunday 20th March, we will be operating with two rings.  The Youth and Elite Running Orders will be running concurrently in each ring.

Event information.

Event: Boxing Scotland Novice Championships

The updated running order for the next session will be published each evening after all the bout results are in.  Only the Bout running order may change.

Coaches and Boxers Please note you only need to weigh in on the day you are down to box.

Event information.

Date: Saturday 19TH and Sunday 20TH March 2022

Venue: Ravenscraig Regional Sports Faculties, Motherwell, ML1 2TZ

Please note that construction work is taking place at the main entrance to Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility during the period of the Novice Championships and entry to the building can only be made via the doors at the playing fields at the rear of the building.

Weigh in Times:  Saturday, Sunday 0800 – 0900, Boxing Commences 1100

Spectator Charges Tickets can only be obtained on the door.
Adult 1 Day Adult    £15 – 2 Day £25
Children U16 1 Day £10 – 2 Day £15

Concessions 1 Day   £10 – 2 Day £15

 

Facilities on Site: Ravenscraig has a small Café’ on-site, selling tea, coffee, and limited hot food.

Cash Machine: There is no cash machine on the premises – we have the ability to take contactless payments

The Main Hall at Ravenscraig is currently being operated by North Lanarkshire Health Authority to conduct COVID-19 Testing.  The facility is also being used as a COVID-19 Vaccination Centre.  Care is to be taken when transiting the facility.

There will be a requirement for all personnel to wear a mask when inside the Facility.  Please see the administrative document for mask requirements.

Test and Protect will be in operation at the event and a Venue QR Code will be used to register spectators at the event and can be found around the front desk and around the spectator seating area.

PLEASE NOTE, in line with our Coach Education Strategy, each course we aim to have a maximum of 16 personnel to enhance the learning experience.

The Pre-Course Pack will be emailed to successful applicants upon completion of payment.

All successful candidates will receive a National Governing Body Award.
