BOXING Scotland was honoured to once again attend the annual IBA Boxing Congress.
Chief Operating Officer Marianne Crichton attended the event this past weekend which was held in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
Boxing Scotland has a strong long-standing partnership with the IBA as Scotland’s only National Governing Body for boxing and we look forward to continuing to work together for the benefit of the sport and our athletes.
Boxing Scotland was also delighted to see that an amendment to the IBA Constitution regarding a Dual Membership Policy was overwhelmingly passed by 94.83% of Member Nations, with a pathway for Scottish boxers to future Olympic Games remaining of upmost importance.
