Boxing Scotland would like to offer all coaches that have not yet passed the new Boxing Scotland Coach Competency Exam an opportunity to sit it on Saturday 1st February 2014, prior to the start of the Intermediate Championships at Ravenscraig, Motherwell.
There will be four thirty minute time slots available to sit the exam on Saturday 1st February, with up to 40 coaches in each slot. The available time slots are as follows;
8.30am
9.05am
9.40am
10.15am
Anyone late for their time slot, will have to sit out that slot and wait for the next one to start, before being permitted to sit the exam.
Only coaches that have gone through the Boxing Scotland recruitment procedure with their club and have been through their Disclosure &/or PVG checks are eligible to book onto the exam.
All coaches should arrive at least 10 minutes before the start of their time slot and report to the main boxing hall, where they will be ushered to their seat to sit the exam.
Coaches should all bring their own pen with them and ensure they have revised the attached Pre-Exam Reading Paper. This is the latest version of the Pre-Exam Reading Paper with some additional information.
Coaches should report to the Exam Supervisor to collect their Exam Questionnaire when instructed to do so at the start of their time slot. They should then take their seat and complete the Exam questionnaire in silence. If they have any questions, they can raise their hand and the Exam Supervisor will answer their question(s) as best they can. Once they have completed their questionnaire, they should walk quietly up to the Exam Supervisors table, put down their completed questionnaire and leave the hall quietly, respecting the other coaches, who are still sitting the exam.
