Dear Members Clubs,
We are now able to confirm more details regarding the 2024-25 Boxing Scotland Development A&B Championships.
An administrative document has been produced and we would advise clubs to familiarise themselves with it ahead of the Championships getting underway.
The Championships will be held at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, Motherwell on the weekends of 18th/19th/20th Β and 25th/26th/27th October 2024.
In total we received approximately 650 entries from across our 120 affiliated clubs, which means that more than 400 bouts are scheduled to take place across the six days of competition.

Some of the key information from the document includes;
Spectator Prices;Β (Tickets can only be purchased at the door of the event)
Adult: Β 1 Day β Β£20, 2 Day β Β£35, 3 day β Β£45.
Children Under-16: 1 Day β Β£10, 2 Day β Β£15, 3 day β Β£20.
To clarify, 2 and 3 day tickets only cover one weekend of boxing, and are not transferable over both weekends.
Please note, from this season boxers will be granted free access to the venue on weekends that they compete in the Championships. For example, if a boxer competes on Saturday, they will be allowed free access to the venue on Sunday and vice versa. This only covers weekends that the boxer is set to compete, and not the duration of the Championships. The boxers should approach the ticket desk for entry, who will have a list of boxers who are eligible for access on that day.
Boxer Weigh-in times;Β (Boxers only weigh-in on days that they compete)
Friday events: 1700 β 1800 β Boxing will commence at 1900.
Saturday and Sunday events: 0800 β 1000 β Boxing will commence at 1100.
There will be a 0.2kg weight allowance for all boxers.
