Boxing Scotland Development (C,D,E) Championships – Running Orders released

BOXING Scotland are pleased to release the draw for this weekend’s National Development (C,D,E) Championships.

The competition will take place on the dates of Friday 27th, Saturday 28th and Sunday 29th January 2023 at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell.

The Running Orders for each day of the competition can be found at the bottom of this post.

For the purposes of understanding the Running Orders, the following age categories will compete in the following rings;

Ring One – Elite boxers.

Ring Two – Youth, Junior, Schools boxers.

Please note, there has been a slight amendment from the competition schedule which was published on Friday, with four Junior Finals (2008 42kg D, 2008 46kg C, 2008 48kg C and 2008 50kg C) brought forward from Sunday 29th to Saturday 28th January.

Boxing Scotland Development (C,D,E) Championships 2023 schedule;

Friday 27th January (Evening session only);

  • Elite Quarter-Finals (& Elite C 67kg & Elite C 71kg Round of 16 contests will take place due to number of entries)

Saturday 28th January;

  • Elite Semi-Finals (& Elite C 67kg & Elite C 71kg Quarter-Finals)
  • Youth Semi-Finals
  • Junior Semi-Finals (& Junior straight Finals for 2008 42kg D, 2008 46kg C, 2008 48kg C and 2008 50kg C)
  • School Finals (& School 2009 C 56kg Semi-Final will take place due to number of entries)

Sunday 29th January;

  • Elite Finals (& Elite C 67kg & Elite C 71kg Semi-Finals)
  • Youth Finals
  • Junior Finals (Except 2008 42kg D, 2008 46kg C, 2008 48kg C and 2008 50kg C)
  • School 2009 C 56kg Final

*Elite C 67kg & Elite C 71kg Finals will be carried over to Saturday 18th February at Boxing Scotland School and Junior Championships in Ravenscraig unless an alternative suitable agreement can be made between the participating clubs.

RING ONE (Elite boxers only)

Friday 27th January – RING_ONE FRIDAY 27TH JANUARY

Saturday 28th January – RING_ONE SATURDAY 28TH JANUARY

Sunday 29th January – RING_ONE SUNDAY 29TH JANUARY

 

RING TWO (Youth, Junior & School boxers only)

Saturday 28th January – RING_TWO SATURDAY 28TH JANUARY

Sunday 29th January – RING_TWO SUNDAY 29TH JANUARY
