February 6, 2023 By Ben Holme

BOXING Scotland are delighted to release the Entry Lists for the 2023 Boxing Scotland National School & Junior Golden Gloves Championships.

The competition will take place on the weekends of 18th/19th and 25th/26th February 2023 at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell.

Clubs are now pleased advised to review the Entry Lists. Please note, there is now a 24-hour window available  for single entrants to move weight and other anomalies to be highlighted.

Boxers who have been entered and are a single entry in their age and weight will now be given an opportunity to move one weight class either up or down.

This move can only occur within the boxers’ age category and requests to move either age category will not be considered.

Where a boxer has entered in a weight category that has at least one other entry they will remain in their chosen weight category.

If clubs wish to move a single entry or make Boxing Scotland aware of an anomaly (ie wrong Birth Year) then please e-mail competitions@boxingscotland.org by 4pm tomorrow (Tuesday 7th February).

When doing so, please list;

  • Boxer Name
  • Club Name
  • Year of Birth
  • Weight entered in

Requests which come after this date will not be considered.

Only requests sent to the competitions e-mail address will also be considered, so please do not send requests to any individual staff member.

Please also note, there were some boxers who were entered into two weights, despite this not being allowed as per the entry form terms and conditions. Where this has occurred, the weight on the most recent entry form submitted has been accepted.
