As an Organisation that has seen much change in the last few years at a performance level, we are also focused on the development of our sport at all levels. We are keen to have our members input into our new strategic plan and determine how we shape Boxing Scotland’s future.
This in turn will give us the ability to grow the quality and quantity of our clubs allowing us to have more people involved in coaching, officiating, volunteering and participating in boxing at all levels, ultimately leading to more medal success.
To achieve this we want to give everyone an opportunity to have a say, to get together & share ideas and knowledge.
We feel the best way to achieve this is through an open day held in our new High Performance Centre which is situated right in the heart of where much of the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games action will take place.
We want this day to be as informative and as relaxed as possible while facilitating the opportunity to get as much valuable information from our members as possible.
The format of the day will be as follows:
• 11:00 – 11.10am – Introduction
• 11:10 – 11:30am – Watch our Glasgow 2014 boxers train
• 11:30 – 11:40am – Keynote Speakers
