Caledonia Box Cup 2025 – Important Updates

April 7, 2025 By Ben Holme

A SMALL number of spaces for Scotland’s newest Box Cup have become available on a first come first serve basis.

Due to a small number of withdrawals, some spaces are now available for the Caledonia Box Cup, which will take place at Grangemouth Sports Complex, Grangemouth from Friday 18th to Sunday 20th April 2025.

The new Box Cup, which initially reached capacity after just two weeks of entries being opened, is being jointly hosted by Sparta Boxing Academy and Doghouse Boxing Club, with Boxing Scotland supporting the event with regards to entries and payments.

The online entry portal is now closed, however to request a new addition please e-mail competitions@boxingscotland.org with the following details;

  • Boxer Name
  • Club Name
  • Governing Body Name
  • Year of Birth
  • Weight category

If there is space in the boxer’s requested category, Boxing Scotland will forward the payment link (£25 per boxer) to confirm their place in the Box Cup.

The deadline for any new additions to the Caledonia Box Cup is at Noon on Wednesday 9th April 2025.

The deadline for any amendments for boxers already entered into the Box Cup (ie change of weight) has also been extended to Noon on Wednesday 9th April.

After this date, weights will be locked and no further amendments or additions will be made to the Box Cup.

It is anticipated that the draw for the Box Cup will then take place on Monday 14th April, with Running Orders shared to clubs shortly afterwards.

Additionally, please note that we are now requesting details of the coaches that are due to attend the Caledonia Box Cup.

Each entered club will be allowed a maximum of three coaches who will be granted free access for the Caledonia Box Cup.

Any additional coaches will have to pay a £20 entry fee on the day for a coach band.

When your clubs coaches arrive at the event, all they will need to do is state their club and name while presenting their coach badge, and then they will receive their coach bands at the front desk.

To sign up your club’s coaches for the Caledonia Box Cup, please complete the short form below. The deadline for clubs to complete the form is Noon on Wednesday 16th April 2025;
