Pat Toner Funeral information
Following the sad loss of former Fauldhouse Boxing Club Coach Pat Toner. Boxing Scotland has been asked to post the following details of Pat’s funeral;
The funeral will take place on Wednesday 10th September, 10.00am, at the St. John the Baptist Church, 115 Main Street, Fauldhouse ,West Lothian, EH47 9BJ.
Piece below from Fauldhouse Boxing Club;
Pat was an inspiration to hundreds of kids in his time, and his coaching skills were legendary.
Fauldhouse Boxing Club when Pat was coaching produced champion after champion until he suffered a massive stroke.
After an unbelievable recovery from the stroke Pat gradually came back to the club last year and began coaching again, it came as no surprise that year that he helped produce another 2 champions.
This club will never be the same again but, thanks to Pat he has passed on his knowledge to others to continue his work, he will be sorely missed by all.
Our thoughts at this time are with his family.
As a mark of respect for the great man the club will remain closed until after Pats funeral.
