April 14, 2022 By Paul Coleman

Boxing Scotland will be delivering a Child Wellbeing and Protection In Sport course to be held on Wednesday 18th May at the HPC in Glasgow.

As previously mentioned and listed below the course has changed and can only be completed with the two modules being completed.  That’s the 30-40 minute online module followed by the 3-hour workshop.

The details and links to the course are below.

Child Wellbeing and Protection in Sport (CWPS)

CWPS replaces UK Coaching’s, Safeguarding and Protecting Children workshop (SPC), which is no longer delivered through sportscotland.  CWPS takes a blended learning approach:  Module 1 is theory-based eLearning and Module 2, a 3 hour face-to-face scenario-based learning.  The main change from SPC is that each learner booked onto a CWPO course  MUST complete Module 1 before attending the face-to-face Module 2.   This must be completed prior to attending the workshop at the end of the session you will be asked to submit your name and email contact details. This will then be verified against your attendance certificate when completing the workshop.
