ABS will be starting a new monthly feature for the website called Club Focus. Our Coach and Club Development Officer James Docherty will visit clubs across Scotland over the coming months and will select a random club each month to be interviewed for Club Focus. This will then be published on the ABS website.
The club coach will be asked questions on where the club name came from, who founded the club and when, how many boxers they currently have, how they first got into boxing coaching and what do they get out of it.
A randomly selected boxer from the club will be given the chance to explain why they got into boxing, if they enjoy it, what positive impact it has had on them, what would they be doing if they didnt box and where do they see themselves five/ten years down the line.
