THE PREMIER competition in Scottish amateur boxing will take place over the following two weekends, the Boxing Scotland Elite Golden Gloves Championships.
Please find below important information for the Championships;
DATES;
Preliminary Rounds – Friday 14th, Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March 2025.
Elite Golden Gloves Finals – Saturday 22nd March 2025.
VENUE;
Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, 1 O’Donnell Way, Wishaw, Motherwell, ML1 2TZ.
WEIGH-IN;
Friday 14th March – Scales will be open 3:30-5:30pm, boxing to commence at 7:30pm.
Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March – Scales will be open 8-10am, boxing to commence at Noon each day.
WEIGHT ALLOWANCE;
There is no weight allowance for boxers at the Elite Golden Gloves Championships.
HANDS WRAPS;
Professional hand wraps are mandatory for all boxers competing in the Elite Golden Gloves Championships.
COACHES;
Coaches must be in possession of their Boxing Scotland 2024/25 Coach Registration badge at the event in order to receive a coach band for each day of the Championships.
Coach bands will be distributed at the Championships on each day at the following times only;
Friday 14th March – 5:30-6:30pm.
Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th March – 10-11am.
SPECTATOR TICKETS;
Preliminary rounds (14-16th March);
Adult: One Day Ticket – £20, Two Day Ticket – £35, Three Day Ticket £45.
Children Under 16: One Day Ticket – £10, Two Day Ticket – £15, Three Day Ticket £20.
Elite Golden Gloves Finals spectator ticket information to be confirmed in due course.
Spectator tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
STREAMING;
The Championships will be streamed on the Boxing Scotland Official YouTube channel.
