I’d like to inform you all that after much consideration, we will not be proceeding with the National Elite and Youth Championships this year.
Obviously it saddens me to have to tell you all this but given the ongoing uncertainty with regards to when the COVID-19 lockdown restrictions will cease and the health, safety and welfare of everyone, there isn’t another option at present.
Clubs have paid entry fees which we can either a) hold as a credit for future championship events/registrations etc or provide a full refund should clubs be struggling financially.
Clubs seeking a full refund should contact marianne.crichton@boxingscotland.org confirming this along with club bank details so that payment can be made. Please note that these will be made as soon as is practicable given current circumstances.
The viability of the Novice Championships will have to be examined in due course also and there will be further communication on this too.
