Entries Now Open for Caledonia Box Cup 2025

January 27, 2025 By Ben Holme

BOXING Scotland are delighted to announce that we are partnering with Sparta Boxing Academy and Doghouse Boxing Club to help deliver the Caledonia Box Cup – with entries now open!

The National Governing Body will be handling all entries and payments for the new Box Cup, which will be held in Grangemouth in April 2025.

The Caledonia Box Cup will be an Open Class competition, sure to attract top quality boxers from Scotland and beyond, ranging from School boxers born 2012 all the way to senior.

DATE: Friday 18th, Saturday 19th and Sunday 20th April 2025.

VENUE: Grangemouth Sports Complex, Abbots Road, Grangemouth, Scotland, FK3 9JB.

COST: £25 per boxer.

ENTRIES INFORMATION;

The Caledonia Box Cup is an Open Class competition and by entering your boxers in this competition you confirm that they are open class standard and are able to compete at this level.

The Box Cup is only open for boxers and clubs who are affiliated with their recognised National Governing Body (ie Boxing Scotland/England Boxing/Welsh Boxing/IABA etc) for the 2024-25 season.

Clubs can only enter boxers for the event via the online entry form.

Please note, all weight categories will be capped at a maximum of 8 boxers and will be filled on a first come first serve basis. Some weight categories may be capped at less than 8 boxers depending upon the number of entries received. A reserve list will be made for weight classes which are at full capacity.

All entries must be accompanied by an Entry payment of £25 which can only be paid through Boxing Scotland’s online ticketing platform. Clubs will be prompted to do so following confirmation that their boxers are successfully included in the Entry List for the competition. Entry fees are non-refundable.

Entries will close at Noon on Friday 28th March 2025, however please be aware that entries may close earlier due to the event reaching capacity.

There is no fee for coaches, however coaches will have to register in advance of the competition in order to receive a coach band. More details on this process will follow in due course.

Final entries will be published on the Boxing Scotland website (www.boxingscotland.org) ahead of the event, as will any further relevant details.
