ENTRIES for the Boxing Scotland School, Junior & Youth Golden Gloves Championships are now open.
Entries are now being accepted for the open class competition from all of our 124 affiliated clubs as the undisputed best School, Junior and Youth boxers in Scotland will be crowned.
This competition will be held on the weekends of February 22nd/23rd and March 1st/2nd 2025 at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell.
Entries close at Noon on Friday 14th February 2025. There will no extensions to this deadline.
Please be aware, following Membership feedback over the past few days, the Championships will revert back to single age categories rather than being combined.
It had previously been announced that certain age groups would be combined in order to bring our Open Class Championships in line with the likes of GB Three Nations Championships, National Championships in other countries and International competitions and provide more open class bouts and competition for our boxers.
However, further consultation will now take place to review the merits of this proposal for future Open Class Championships, including with our soon to be announced National Committees.
Please note, the entry forms will not change at this stage and will still be listed as combined age categories, however the entries will be sorted due to Year of Birth.
Additionally, for any club who has already submitted entries into the Championships, there is no need to re-submit the entry.
Payments will be taken via the same process as the Boxing Scotland Development C/D/E Championships earlier this year via our online ticketing platform.
Clubs should still enter all of their boxers details via the Microsoft Forms as usual.
Once completed, clubs should click on the link to the ticketing platform below where they will be able to pay for all of their boxers entries in one payment.
This is done by adding the correct number of Male and Female entries to cart, before clicking checkout and proceeding with payment;

If there are any questions regarding the payment method then please e-mail competitions@boxingscotland.org

Boxers who are not entered into the competition draw, either by virtue of being a single entry or due to withdrawal, will receive a refund of their entry fee. Any boxer who is entered into the competition draw will not be due a refund under any circumstances.
NOTE: In order to guarantee that boxers/coaches have the necessary registration books/coaching badges processed and returned to them in time for the Championships, paperwork must be received into the Boxing Scotland Office at least 14 WORKING DAYS before the Championships commence. No books/badges will be distributed at the Championships.
Final entries will be published on the Boxing Scotland website (www.boxingscotland.org) ahead of the event, as will any further relevant details.
