Boxing Scotland has organised for a ‘Safeguarding and Protecting Children’ Course to be delivered at the National High Performance Centre at Bridgeton.

Cost £15 per individual

This three-hour workshop is suitable for coaches and volunteers who will come into contact with children.

The workshop explores the code of conduct for those in contact with children and provides basic information on recognising child abuse and responding to concerns. It will be mandated that all coaches and volunteers attend for the 2019/20 Season.

These courses are mandated for Club Child Protection Officers and Club Coaches and last two to three years where upon they should be refreshed to ensure clubs are compliant with new Child Protection regulations.
