Boxing Scotland will be hosting a Referee and Judges Seminar on Thursday the 6th of May from 1900-2015.
Boxing Scotland will create a systematic, all-inclusive officiating programme, that engages and prepares our volunteers to be successful, in order to achieve their highest goals in the sport of boxing – both now and into the future.
The pathway will.
- Lay down the foundations of good sporting and ethical practice
- Recognise and encourage knowledge, skill and experience
- Empower our people, therefore creating the conditions for success
This will provide a pathway for Officials from District to National and onto International levels. The training pathway will cover ongoing training and mentoring, facilitating officials towards international standards.
This Seminar will be an opportunity to provide qualified Officials and any and all potential new Officials with an update on the Boxing Scotland Officiating pathway with direct information about selected topics.
The Seminar is open to all current Working Officials registered or not and Potential New Officials wishing to volunteer on behalf of Boxing Scotland.
The Seminar will cover the following topics.
- Introduction to CEO Chris Roberts.
- Referee and Judge/TK
- Computer Operator – selected volunteers and future development
- Competition Manager – an opportunity to develop in other areas for the future
Delivery time; Thursday 6th May 7:00pm (Approx running time 1 hour 30 minutes)
Delivery Method: This Seminar will be held via ZOOM.
