We would like to remind you that entries for the 2021-22 Boxing Scotland Youth & Elite Championships will close tomorrow (Friday 4th March) at 5pm.
Please be aware that there will be no extension to this deadline.
This competition will take place at Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility in Motherwell on the weekends of 19th/20th and 26th/27th March 2022, with the Elite Finals taking place on Saturday 9th April 2022.
ENTRIES INFORMATION;
It is the responsibility of the Club submitting the form to ensure the details are correct. Any entries received which are not fully complete will not be entered into the event.
Only boxers registered with Boxing Scotland for the 2021-22 season representing an affiliated club are eligible to enter this competition.
Boxers cannot enter into categories not specified on the entry form.
All entries must be accompanied by an Entry payment of £20 – an e-mail will be sent by Boxing Scotland on receipt of entry which details how this can be paid.
A Boxer can only enter to compete in one weight category. Where a boxer has been entered and is a single entry in that age and weight category, the club will be given the opportunity to have the boxer moved one weight classification up or down once the Entries have closed. Where a boxer has entered in a weight category that has at least one other entry they will remain in their chosen weight category.
Boxers cannot box outside of their age category at a National Championships and no requests for this will be considered.
As this is an Open Championships, only boxers who can compete at this level should be entered by clubs.
Entries should only come from the club Secretary, not individual boxers/parents, and will only be accepted from a recognised club e-mail address.
NO ENTRY WILL BE ACCEPTED AFTER 17:00HRS ON FRIDAY 4TH MARCH 2022.
ALL PAYMENTS MUST ALSO BE RECEIVED BY THIS DATE.
No refunds will be granted after the entries have closed. Boxers who withdraw before 1700 on Friday 4th March will be eligible for a refund. Clubs must notify of any withdrawals by e-mailing competitions@boxingscotland.org – no other method will be accepted.
Boxing Scotland DOES NOT guarantee boxers entered will compete at the Championships. This is dependent on the amount of entries received, the draw, in addition to the boxers attending the weigh-in and making their championship weight.
No boxer books/coach badges will be distributed at the Championships.
Final entries will be published on the Boxing Scotland website (www.boxingscotland.org) and Facebook page www.facebook.com/boxingscotland ahead of the event, as will any further relevant details.
