ABS is delighted to announce that the very first ABS child protection workshop is fully subscribed with over twenty names confirmed for the course to be held at Reid Kerr College in Renfrew. The course will be delivered by ABS Safeguarding Tutor Paul O’Connor of Renfrewshire ABC.
The Safeguarding workshops are designed to raise awareness of child protection and provide attendees with advice on how to respond to concerns in line with the ABS Child Protection Policy.
ABS has been praised for it’s efforts by Children 1st and CRBS with regards to child protection and the response to this workshop is typical of the attitude within ABS Clubs.
ABS will announce further workshops as it works toward it’s goal of having every ABS Coach through the minimum child protection requirement by 2012.
