Future & Next Generation Assessment Registration

 

Please see the below information regarding upcoming assessments for the Boxing Scotland Future & Next Generation pathway.

Assessment Dates

  • 22nd & 23rd August – Initial assessments
  • 29th & 30th August – Invitation-only assessments

These assessments are for School and Junior boxers only.

Eligibility

Junior Boxers: Born in 2010 or 2011
School Boxers: Born in 2012 or 2013

This assessment is open to Open Class boxers only, as it is being used to identify athletes to represent Scotland on international duty.

The minimum eligibility requirements are:

  • Previous Scottish Golden Gloves Championships Gold or Silver medalist, or
  • Single entry into last year’s Scottish Golden Gloves Championships and
  • Must have entered a Scottish Open Championship.

PLEASE NOTE: Only boxers from clubs fully affiliated to Boxing Scotland will be considered.

Registration Form

Eligible boxers can be registered via this form: https://forms.cloud.microsoft/e/cj2MB51fEx

This form must be completed and submitted by Monday 17th August 2026.

Purpose of the Assessments

These assessments are being held to:

  • Select the new Future & Next Generation squads.
  • Assess boxers for upcoming international events.
  • Identify athletes for upcoming European Championships.
