Team Manager, Mr John McGuire provides the latest Team Scotland updates from the 2013 Brnadenburg Cup currently being contested in Berlin, Germany:

Results from the 1st round of preliminaries,

56kg – Daniel Fairweather lost on points 3-0 to Nelson Robin of France.

60kg – Andrew Tham lost on points 3-0 to Farukh Tursunov of Bulgaria.

Both lads gave a very good account of themselves boxing in near 30° (86F) heat. Their opponents greater experience proving the difference at the final bell, but a great experience for both Andrew & Daniel.

Todays quarter-finals see,

52kg – Stephen Boyle v Zdravro Mihaylou (Bul)

64kg – Craig McIntyre v Agon Gashi (Ger)

69kg – Brodie Robertson v Cem Korkmaz (Ger)

91kg – Connal McDonnal v Domeniek Thiemke (team Brandenburg)

All results will be posted as soon as we receive them. Good luck to all Team Scotland boxers
