Message from the Chairman – Strategic Planning Process

January 16, 2014 By Paul Coleman

Richard Thomas

As part of our ongoing development, Boxing Scotland has started the process of producing our next strategic plan. This is a a document that will guide Boxing Scotland for the four period of 2015 – 2019

The plan will encapsulate our key goals, how we hope to achieve these and set out our vision for the development of boxing in Scotland.

Stakeholder input is key to making the plan meaningful.

The board and staff have held a workshop day facilitated by sportscotland to outline the process to create the plan.

I am keen to have representation from our boxers coaches and officials.

If you would be interested in contributing to the process of developing Boxing Scotland’s long term plan and are available for the day on Sunday 09 February 2014 between 10am and 3pm please send me an email at the following: chair@boxingscotland.org

We can only have 3 people involved so there is no guarantee you will be selected. That said, we hope to hold an open day for all where we can capture the thoughts of our members on how we develop Boxing Scotland moving forward.

I would also ask that all member clubs ensure that they contribute to the smooth running of our championships this year by providing either officials and or volunteers.

Anyone interested in assisting with the overall event planning and running please let me know as per the email address above.

Regards

Richard Thomas

Chairman, Boxing Scotland Ltd
