Thank you for your continued support to Boxing Scotland, as we look to move into the 2022/2023 season we wanted to make you aware of some key changes in the pricing structure.
OUR SUCCESSES THIS SEASON
As you know, Boxing Scotland is on an upwards trajectory and this year alone we have seen an unprecedented:
- 3 Referees attain their 1-star qualification;
- First ever medal at World Championships;
- First European Championships podium 16 years;
- Domestically we have attained 18 golds at the Tri Nation competitions this season;
- Biggest entry 797 for our Novice National Championships.
We will continue to build on this as we approach the 2022 Commonwealth Games with eight boxers selected to represent Scotland from our Elite Boxing Group.
GOING DIGITAL
Boxing Scotland will be looking to reduce the amount of paperwork and go online where possible in order to be more environmentally friendly. From August 1ST 2022 all Coach badges will be supplied in PDF format and sent directly to the Coach via their registered email address. For those who would still like a physical badge, they can send their old badge to the High-Performance Centre along with a stamped addressed envelope for return. Please note that we will not be sending physical badges without the appropriate return postage. You will still be required to present your coach badge for entry to the National championships, however, this will now be on your phone or mobile device.
PRICE UPDATES
Driving service excellence does however come at a cost. Whilst we endeavour to absorb as much of this as we can, we take this opportunity to advise that there will be an increase to our annual fees within the following areas take will take effect from 01 August 2022.
Affiliation costs will be £250. We are offering an early bird discount price of £225 for clubs who affiliate before 1st Sept 2022 (this offer will not apply to new clubs. Bank reference Club name Aff22/23 Affiliation agreement can be found at the link; 2022-23-club-Affiliation-Agreement-Document
The affiliation agreement must be returned to the membership email or your Regional Development Officer.
