We are delighted to share an update with regards to the Boxing Scotland Performance Pathway Programme.
A thorough review of the National Pathway Programme has been conducted to ensure that the model and delivery of the programme aligns with Boxing Scotland’s new 2023–27 strategy and objectives.
As such, there has been a delay to the seventh cycle of the Pathway Programme commencing.
Due to this, Boxing Scotland will be hosting an EXTRAORDINARY ASSESSMENT for all 2023 Youth & Elite Golden Gloves Championship Finalists and 2023 Youth & Elite Three Nations Championships representatives.
Just to confirm, Boxers eligible to attend must have reached at least one of the following:
1: Finalist in Boxing Scotland Youth or Elite Golden Gloves Championships 2023.
2: Team Scottish representative in Youth or Elite GB Three Nations Championships 2023.
This one-off Extraordinary Assessment will take place in the Boxing Scotland High Performance Centre in Glasgow on Saturday 30th September 2023.
All clubs must enter their boxer/s and confirm attendance through an online document by Thursday 28th September 2023 at 21:00.
The link to the online document has been sent out to all affiliated clubs via e-mail.
Meanwhile, we can confirm that the Performance Pathway Programme will recommence in NOVEMBER 2023 with our seventh cycle of the National programme.
