In what promises to be a challenge for all five Team Scotland boxers, we have received the confirmed semi final bout list form the Popenchenko Tournament currently being held in Moscow, Russia. Four of our five semi finalists have drawn Russian opposition with Aqeel Ahmed facing Chinese opposition in the shape of Banjia Wang. Full details are as follows:

56kg – Stephen Tiffany (Sco) v Vyacheslav Mirzaev (Rus)
60kg – Musheg Akopyan (Rus) v Mark McKeown (Sco)
69kg – Lewis Benson (Sco) v Sergii Bykov (Rus)
75 kg – Kieran Smith (Sco) v Zurah Luvhov (Rus)
