As previously communicated, the 2019 Boxing Scotland AGM was scheduled to take place on Sunday 25 August 2019 in Peebles Hydro Hotel.
The quorum at Annual General Meetings must be a minimum of seventeen (17) delegates from member clubs – This was not the case on Sunday 25 August 2019 and the AGM was not held.
In with our Articles (16), the Quorum at Annual General Meetings shall be delegates from Seventeen Members.
If within half an hour from the time appointed for the holding of a
General Meeting a quorum is not present, the meeting, if convened on the
requisition of Members, shall be dissolved.
In any other case, the meeting shall stand adjourned to the same day in the following week, at the same time and (or at such other place as the Board may determine) and if at such adjourned meeting a quorum is not present within half an hour from the time appointed for holding the meeting, the Members present, with entitlement to vote, shall be entitled to hold the meeting and vote on the business to be conducted thereat.
Taking the above in to account, the 2019 AGM will now take place Venue TBC on Sunday 01 September 2019 at 1pm.
