ABS is pleased to announce that three of its probationary referees have passed a probationers assessment & exam meaning they are now fully fledged ABS Referees.
William Murphy (Linwood ABC), Leroy Smith (Aberdeen ABC) and Mark Reilly (Duries ABC) travelled to the 1314 club in Bannockburn, on Thursday 11 October 2012, to carry out a practical/evaluation session, followed by an exam. The assessments were carried out by George Brown, Norman Watt and Abby Hills.
All successful candidates will be issued with a letter of confirmation and a certificate in due course. Raymond Mitchell (Inverness ABC) also passed his written exam but will be required to gain further practical experience before becoming an ABS Referee.
ABS would like to thank all at 1314 ABC for their hospitality and for providing boxers on the evening.
