BOXING Scotland are delighted to announce that we are partnering with Doonhamers Boxing Club to help deliver the Robert Burns Box Cup – with entries now open!
The National Governing Body will be handling all entries and payments for the Box Cup, which will be held in Dumfries in September 2026.
The Robert Burns Box Cup will be both a Development and an Open Class competition, ranging from School boxers born 2015 to Junior boxers born 2010.
DATE; Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th September 2026.
VENUE; Easterbrook Hall, Crichton Campus, Bankend Road, Dumfries, DG1 4TA.
AGE CATEGORIES; From Schools 2015 to Junior 2010.
EXPERIENCE CATEGORIES;
- Development – 0-6 bouts.
- Open Class – No limit on number of bouts.
COST: £35 per boxer.
The Box Cup is only open for boxers and clubs who are affiliated with a recognised National Governing Body (ie Boxing Scotland/England Boxing/Welsh Boxing/Boxing Ireland etc) for the 2026/27 season.

Entries will close at Noon on Tuesday 1st September 2026, however please be aware that entries may close earlier due to the event reaching capacity. Final entries will be published on the Boxing Scotland website ahead of the event.
All entries must be accompanied by an Entry payment of £35 which can only be paid through Boxing Scotland’s online ticketing platform at the link below. Entry fees must also be paid for by the deadline of Noon on Tuesday 1st September 2026. Entry fees are non-refundable.
