BOXING Scotland are delighted to release the Running Orders for the inaugural Caledonia Box Cup.
Scotland’s newest Box Cup will take place this weekend from Friday 18th April to Sunday 20th April at Grangemouth Sports Complex, Grangemouth.
The Box Cup is being hosted by Boxing Scotland Eastern District clubs Doghouse Boxing Club and Sparta Boxing Academy, with the National Governing Body supporting the event with regards to entries and payments.
No further amendments will be made to the competitions, however if clubs do have any withdrawals please e-mail competitions@boxingscotland.org and an Official Withdrawal List will be published in due course.
The weigh-in will take place from 8-10am on each day of the Box Cup, with the boxing commencing from 11am.
Please note, as this is an Open Class competition there is no weight allowance at the scales.
Additionally, normal hand wraps will be used by all boxers (including Elite), with professional style hand wraps not in use for this competition.
For the purposes of understanding the Running Orders, the Box Cup has been divided into two rings, with the following boxers competing in each ring;
RING ONE;
Schools (2011-2012)
Elite (1985-2006)
RING TWO;
Junior (2009-2010)
Youth (2007-2008)
The younger age category will compete first in each ring.
