Last night saw the completion of the first in a new round of Child Protection Course put on in the High-Performance Centre at Bridgeton.
The current plan is to hold a course once a month on varying days and at different times. This will give the opportunity for Coaches who are busy running training sessions during the week to attend. This will then ensure that our coaching membership is up to date with Child Protection Training.
All club registered coaches must hold current in date “Safeguarding and Protecting Children” qualification. Likewise, all Child Protection Officers must have an in-date “Safeguarding and Protecting Children” qualification as well as completing an “In Safe Hands” Course.
Details of the next and future courses will be promulgated in due course. You can also look for dates in the Boxing Scotland Calendar, under courses as these will be added in due course.
These courses are to be updated every three years.
