ABS is pleased to announce that its Talent ID Squad enjoyed another very productive session on Saturday 08 December 2012 in the Forgewood gym, Motherwell, with a fantastic 36 boxers in attendance.
Coach Danny Lee has arranged a further training session for Saturday 15 December 2012 which will also take place at the Forgwood gym.
There will be two sessions – one for boxers born in 1997 & 1996 boxers who will be required to undergo a weight check at 09:00am followed by training. The next session will be for boxers born in 2000, 1999 and 1998 who will be required to undergo a weight check at 10.30am followed by training.
The session will also be used for preparation for the forthcoming Home International against England scheduled for 22 December 2012. The event will take place at the Ravenscraig Regional Sports Facility, O’Donnell Way, Motherwell, ML1 2Tz. Following two Home International events held in Northern England last Christmas, England are kindly supporting the continuation of the event by bringing up a team of boxers which will result in circa 16 fantastic bouts of boxing.
The teams are in the process of being selected and matched and we anticipate these will be announced by Friday this week (14 December 2012). With this in mind, ABS would like to inform members of a ticket bundle deal that will be available to clubs with boxers competing at the event. This will be as follows;
10 tickets per club – £11 per adult and £7 per concession ticket
20 tickets per club – £10 per adult and £6 per concession ticket.
Walk up prices on 22 December 2012 will be £12 Adult and £8 concession (u16s and OAPs)
Boxing will commence at approximately 1pm.
Once the team is announced club secretaries/coaches can contact the ABS Ltd office on 0845 241 7016 to reserve tickets. These will be set aside in envelopes and either posted out prior to the event, subject to payment, or can be collected from the ticket desk on the day of the event and paid for then.
ABS would encourage all friends, family members and fans of boxing to come along to this pre-Christmas event to lend their support to Scotland’s best Talent ID boxers at what is sure to a fantastic afternoon of boxing.
