Tammer Tournament Finland 14-17 October 2010

October 18, 2010 By Paul Coleman

Report from Stevie News in Finland;

Not really much to report except that all three boxers who have been eliminated gave a very good performance all losing on points, Brian Peacock will fight today against Matias suni from Finland, Brian is feeling good for this contest and I feel he will go on to the final, All boxers have been well behaved and the hotel is first class.

Final result from Finland, Brian Peacock was unsuccessful against 2 time European and 2 time world champion Dmitri Bivol, Russia.
Losing 2-1, A close fought contest with Brian leading 1-0 after the first round, The second round saw both boxers drawing even 1-1 and the 3rd round saw the Russian boxer snatch victory from Scotland by 1 point, A very good contest and all Scottish boxers and staff were pleased with the overall final team position of 9th place out of 19 countries who participated.
