ABS is pleased to bring you the results from the finals of the Golden Glove of Vojvodina tournament in Serbia on 08 July 2012.
75kg – Grant Quigley (Scotland) beat Polinikis Kalamaras (Greece) 11-1. Grant boxed three times in three days in extremely warm, uncomfortable conditions which makes this an exceptional win. Congratulations to Grant.
81kg – Alexey Yaskov (Russia) narrowly beat Scott Forrest (Scotland). Scott’s opponent was a very talented Russian – Scott dug deep and gave this best for the duration of the contest but the Russian’s experience told in the end.
A full tournament report will be posted on the website in due course.
